Did you know that when your child enrolls at P.S. 40, your family automatically becomes part of the school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA)?
The PTA is an all-volunteer parent group that raises money to support improvements in our school. Equally important, we sponsor school-wide events to build community and have fun together.
We hope that you will be involved with us this year, in whatever way works best for you and your family. To find our more about our activities, please join us for our first PTA Meeting and Hospitality Night scheduled for Wednesday, September 21 at 6:30pm in the PS 40 Auditorium. For PS 40 students we provide FREE babysitting.

Math, reading, and literacy consultants for all teachers
Purchase, upgrade and maintenance of band instruments
Classroom equipment and supplies
